When a customer receives a traffic ticket while their vehicle was under Blue Valet's responsibility, here is the detailed procedure to follow:
-
Sending the documents :
- The customer must send Blue Valet a complete and legible copy of the penalty notice by filling in the contact form. This document must be scanned or photographed so that it is perfectly legible. By filling in the contact form
-
Verification:
- Blue Valet will verify the information contained in the ticket: the date and time of the offence, the vehicle registration number and the times and dates of the vehicle pick-up. These checks confirm whether the offence took place while the vehicle was under Blue Valet's responsibility.
-
Responsibility and payment:
- If, after verification, it is established that Blue Valet was responsible for the vehicle at the time of the offence, the company will pay the fine, but only at the reduced rate (if applicable).
-
Withdrawal of points:
- In the event of points being withdrawn, Blue Valet also undertakes to take the necessary steps to transfer the withdrawal of points to the driver concerned and will send the client all documents proving that these steps have been taken.
-
Disputes or delays:
- If Blue Valet disputes the fine but the Public Prosecutor rejects the dispute, it will then be up to the client to continue with the administrative procedures for any further disputes.
- Finally, Blue Valet will only be liable for the reduced amount of the fine. If the fine has been increased due to a delay in receipt or dispatch, Blue Valet will not be responsible for this increase.
